Number (N)ine: AW05 Red Plaid Hybrid Docking Jacket
Highly regarded as Number (N)ine's most notable collection during its run, Autumn/Winter 2005 collection 'The High Streets' proved to the world that the punk spirit and the intricacies of high fashion can fuse into one. With the name taken from designer Takahiro Miyashita's band, 'The High Streets' finds inspiration from the grunge aesthetic, the fashion style of Kurt Cobain, and Native American clothing. By fusing all elements into each article of clothing, the collection in its entirety proves that one simply cannot be kept under one category.
Considered as one of the highlights of the AW05 collection, the Red Plaid Hybrid Docking Jacket effortlessly incorporates various styles and materials: firm denim body with sherpa lining, red plaid sleeves with luxurious lining and hoodie attachments with soft cotton. On the sides of both sleeves are adjustable army cargo pockets with green tiger camo. Fully functional and sturdy riri zippers. Last but not least the 'PAIN' tab located on the right pocket, a humorous spin on the Levi's tab seen on its denim pockets.
