For the sixth issue of A Magazine Curated By, released in 2007, second-wave Belgian designer Veronique Branquinho was asked to lend her vision to the publication. A decade into her career, the issue finds Branquinho standing atop an already well-elaborated creative vision, depicting a multi-faceted and complex female character defined by opposites: eroticism and conservatism, girlishness and maturity, invitation and rejection. The issue collects some of Branquinho's most significant reference points: her childhood, her male muses, favorite albums, family recipes, and, inevitably, David Lynch.
